2001

• New Jersey Transit presented Award to Assemblywoman Heck for her leadership  role on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Transit.

• Rochelle Park Township Committee presented plaque "In Recognition of (her)  Years of Support to the Residents of Rochelle Park as (their) District 38  Assemblywoman." 

The Victims' Rights  Summit in Eatontown, NJ presented Equal Justice Award for hard work and dedication on  behalf of crime victims. 

The Garfield Fire  Company #2 presented Certificate of Appreciation for her "unselfish generosity"  towards the company, helping to make it "better equipped to come to (people's)  aid." 

The Boys and Girls  Club of Lodi, at their "Salute to Community Service," awarded Assemblywoman Heck  the "Woman of the Year" award. 
 


2000

On November 9,  2000, Family and Social Services Federation made Rose their Rain to Rainbows honoree for  her achievements with domestic violence laws.

The Dorothy B. Hersh Regional Child Protection Center, Saint Peter's University  Hospital, acknowledges with deep appreciation for her commitment and support of Centers  for Abused Children and their Families.

Cliffside Park Fire  Department for on-going devotion, support and generosity.

S addle Brook Library Board of Trustees resolution for authoring  legislation recognizing the need to provide state funded grant monies for libraries.

New Jersey Commission On Recreation For Individuals With Disabilities Evelyn  Aronow Dolan Citizens Award.

In June 2000, Rochelle Park, NJ  recognized her outstanding service to  the citizens of Rochelle Park in response to Hurricane Floyd (September 1999 to the  present).

Girl Scout Council of Bergen County  presented the Community Award on April 27 acknowledging her outstanding and continuing  service to the Girl Scout Program.
